Content : A Doloplus-2 assessment is performed by a proxy-rater who observes the subject and evaluates the presence of ten pain-related behaviours from 0 to 3 – representing increasing presence of the behaviour in three sections : Somatic Reactions, Psychomotor Reactions, Psychosocial Reactions (Holen JC, 2005).
A cut-off score of 5 out of 30, represents possible pain being present
